Miss Katey

Miss Katey was born and raised in Lancaster Ohio and is committed to providing professional dance instruction and technique to students in the central Ohio area. She has won 10+ choreography awards in the last 8 years. Nationally recognized by The Nexstar Talent Competition as a top Choreographer for her 3rd place World tap routine "Checkmate" and with over 15 years of dance instruction experience Miss Katey has a passion to bring the best out of each and every student at Movement Arts.

Hello! My name is Miss Paetton and I am SO excited to teach this year! I am 24 years old and just got married in May of 2024! I have danced since the age of 6 and started going to Movement Arts Studio of Dance when I was around 12 years old. I was very involved in the competition world and during my time there we were World Dance Champions. My favorite dance style to be in is clogging and my favorite to teach is jazz, contemporary, and clogging. After graduating Ohio University in 2023, I got involved in dance again and have been in “The Nutcracker” and plan to be in the production again! I am still very involved with dance today and I am so excited to teach this year, get to know everyone, and spread my joy of dance on to you! Lets make it a great year!

 

Miss Hannah

Hi everyone!! My name is Miss Hannah and I’m so excited to be back in the dance world!! I’ll be 24 years old this August and I graduated college from Ohio University in May of 2023! I started dancing when I was 3 years old and have been a part of Movement Arts since I was 7! Miss Katey first taught me when I had just turned 8 years old! I have done almost every style of dance but my all-time favorites to do are tap and clogging!! Tap and clogging are also my favorite styles to teach! During my 12 years at this studio, I danced competitively for 5 of those years! My groups have won many titles including National Champions for one of my tap dances and World Dance Champions for another routine I was a part of! I am so excited to meet everyone and to teach at the studio I love so much!! It’s going to be a great year!!
